Professional's Choice and Britt Bockius have collaborated in designing and developing a brand new rope, and after a year of trials and tribulations are proud to release the “Blue Bolt.”  This is the first rope made with a new technology that ensures that the nylon and poly are consistently spun throughout the entire rope.  The result is a rope that has all the important features needed to improve a roper’s catching percentages.

Britt Bockius is a name in rodeo that for eleven years has been a

consistent fixture at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. His career

highlights read like a PRCA who’s who including, winner of the 2005

Reno Rodeo and Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo.

Ranch raised, Britt started roping when he was seven. “When I was

growing up, roping was just something I did,” says Bockius. “Whether it

was roping my mom or the dog, it seemed like I always had a rope in my

hand.”

Bockius first qualified for the National Finals in Las Vegas, NV, in 1994.

“I was nervous, amazed, but also somewhat surprisingly relieved,” says

Bockius. “Relieved because all the years in the practice pen paid off. I

made it. I proved to myself and everyone else that I did have what it took

to be at the top of this game.”
